Abigail Glaum-Lathbury is an artist and designer based in Chicago and Mexico City. Her work explores the discursive potential found in clothing and dressing, arguing for a rethinking and transformation of the fashion system.

Her work has been shown at the MoMA and MAD Museum in New York, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, the Newport Art Museum, the Nevada Museum of Art and the Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts in New York, and at Gallery F in Moss, Norway.

Her work has been profiled in the New York Times, the Guardian, the Paris Review, the Huffington Post and Surface Magazine among other publications. Glaum-Lathbury is the Sage Endowed Chair of Fashion Design and an Associate Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
